Erik Einesson - Founder & Chief Executive Officer
Mr. Einesson is an experienced project manager, CEO, and business developer specializing in the security and technology sector. With experience in consulting and facilitating procurement of various security and defense products and equipment to clients, using his powerful network identifying suitable manufacturers or suppliers, product pricing, availability, procurement processes, etc.
Mr. Einesson also has long experience in advising, training, organizing, and executing security operations in cooperation with civilian, military, and Government clients. Served with the Ranger Regiment Swedish Army infantry. Instructor in the Swedish Army served with the Swedish Armed Forces in NATO-led international mission and served in the Swedish international rapid reaction battalion. Mr. Einesson was also a senior officer at the security company SIG and the CEO of the personal protective equipment and technology company Alycore™.
Thomas Gregory - Senior Operating Executive
Mr. Gregory is an innovative thinker with broad-based expertise in operations, finance, mergers and acquisition, and business development. Proven ability to analyze key business drivers and develop strategies to grow the bottom line. Played a central role as a commercial director/strategic developer; co-founder/shareholder of several startups/ management buyouts. Taken part in an IPO and a reverse merger of an LSE, within the energy sector. Over 20 years of experience in the security sector. Specialist in urban warfare, hand-to-hand combat PSD, and event security.
Ulf "Wolf" Bjaaland - Co-Founder & Chief Technology Officer
Mr. Wolf is an Army Veteran/Reserve Officer who served with the Special Forces Norwegian Army Ranger. 20 years of experience in special operations, military strategy, organization, leadership, and military intelligence. 20 years of experience as project manager for IT-related branches like cybersecurity, counterintelligence, and surveillance. 15 years as Chief Technical Officer for security, intel, and safety firm. Working with client technology, strategies, troop deployment, logistics, anti-terror, offshore security, search, and rescue. Master of Science in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science. Bachelor in Telecommunication and Cybernetics. Master of Business and Administration, the field within Military Science and Strategy of Technology.
The Honorable Joseph E. Schmitz - iKey Chairman of the Board
Mr. Schmitz has been running iKey Solutions office in Washington, USA, since 2011. Mr. Schmitz served as the fifth Senate-confirmed Inspector General of the Department of Defense from April 2002 to September 2005. As such, he was agency head of the most expansive Inspector General organization in the world, with statutory policy oversight responsibility for roughly 60,000 auditors, investigators, inspectors, law enforcement officers, and oversight professionals throughout the Department of Defense. For his service as Inspector General of the Department of Defense, Mr. Schmitz was awarded the Department of Defense Medal for Distinguished Public Service, the highest honorary award presented by the Secretary of Defense to non-career federal employees. His pre-Inspector General public service included twenty-seven years of naval service, From September 2005 through December 2008, Mr. Schmitz served as the Chief Operating Officer and General Counsel of the Prince Group. Mr. Schmitz graduated with distinction from the U.S. Naval Academy in 1978 and received his Doctor of Jurisprudence degree from Stanford University in 1986.
Paul R Boucher - Financial advisor
Over the past 30 years, Paul has been actively involved in the finance and infrastructure sectors working on projects in the energy (renewables), water, transportation (air and ground), social (schools, courthouses, healthcare), and timber sectors. Paul has built various teams of investment managers in the development, financing, building, and asset management of infrastructure projects across North America with an aggregate market value of excess of $5 billion. Paul has held several senior positions with groups such as HSBC (Vice President), Meridiam (Executive Director), Babcock & Brown (Managing Director), ABN AMRO (Co-Head of Infrastructure Capital, Americas). Paul was also a financial advisor to a large French company on the acquisition of a $1 billion business in the infrastructure space, as well as Executive Director of the Toronto Island Airport Terminal, responsible for overseeing the most recent construction expansion project. Paul holds a degree in engineering from Queen’s University and an MBA from the University of Western Ontario.
Sofia de Fay - Communication Strategist
Sofia de Fay’s long and successful career as a writer and film director has taken her all over the world-hopping between cultures, languages, and continents. She has racked up an impressive portfolio of award-winning films for the top mining houses, energy companies, governments, sovereign wealth funds, and leaders. Her work in film has given her exclusive access to decision-makers and knowledge of corporations, government relations, public affairs, and brand marketing in different geographies and complex environments. Glancing at her client list it might be easier to ask whom she has NOT worked for. Joakim "Joke" Östling - Chief Instructor
Jocke is a former scout/sniper with the army rangers. Close protection operative with international experience. Firearms instructor with 13 years of experience within the armed forces and private security sector. Focus on long-range negotiation, handguns, carbines, and Military tactics. Holds a degree in information/cybersecurity and works with strategic national security.
JL Roodt - Operations Director
Mr. Roodt, a former Colonel who served in both the Parachute Battalion in the Military and with the South African Police Services has over 30 years of experience in the security and explosive industry. He has worked in numerous countries in conflicts such as Libya, South Sudan, the Republic of Sudan, DRC Congo, Vietnam, Taiwan, Kinmen Island, Laos, Cambodia, Angola, Myanmar, and others as a security and explosives expert. Among his many achievements is the Vietnam Friendship Medal he was awarded for work he conducted in Vietnam from the Vietnam Government. Director JL Roodt is duly registered with the Security Officers Board (SOB) and PSIRA to conduct related work in the private security industry. He is also registered as a Training Instructor and Assessor with the Safety & Security Sector Education Training Authority. He received his explosives training in Denmark, Sweden, Estonia, and South Africa. He is registered with the United Nations as a QA/Operations Officer and as a Mission Specialist. He is also registered with the Chief Inspector of Explosives SAPS (South Africa) as an explosive destructor, with the DoL as Explosive Manager and Member with the National Institute of Explosive Technology.
Mr. Rabin Kumar Gurung - Operative Commander 12
Mr. Kumar has 20 years of military experience, served in UAE, Malaysia, Iraq, Afghanistan, and other international conflict zones. Served with the United Nations with peacekeeping, humanitarian aid, among other responsibilities. Worked with multiple International private companies as security expert and team coordinator. Kumar has been working with iKey Solutions since 2012 where he is highly appreciated for his, experience, loyalty, commitment, and hard-working mentality. Mr. Kumar is also the commander of our Gurkhas soldiers.
